I mean, right? I came into this world and it was like the world was bathed in a warm ray of light. Laughter was heard and peace was felt. The planets were aligned and there was harmony in the universe. (Except for that Vietnam stuff, obviously.)

1975. It was a good year. I flew to Dallas and spent a month there with my very cool aunt and uncle. My brother spent most of the year in-patient at Primary Children's behavioral unit, becoming more fit for public consumption. (a FAIL!) It was the year that marked the very last time my parents would attempt to give me a sister. (Ryan was born in May 1976. NOT a sister!)

I used to belt that song out and had worked up dance moves go with it that I would show anyone who'd watch...I still remember them. Also, I had a "Tenille cut," which framed my face and curled under just like hers. Pretty spiffy :)
