My husband had to work tonight and that meant I had to do bedtime for an infant and a toddler after I worked an 8 hour day, am fighting an awful cold and cooked dinner. I whispered a prayer when I was putting the baby down for tonight to go smoothly. The baby fell asleep the fastest to date (17 minutes) and I was able to put Nate down with minimal whining and screaming. God knows what you can handle and sometimes answers little prayers when you need them most. :o)
Liz's answer is so sweet....but at my house mommy never leaves. So I would say happiness is when the kiddos nap 30 minutes longer than you thought they would and you get to sneak in a nap too:)
Currently and selfishly? Gobstoppers Heart Breakers. They only come out at this time of year and my hubby brought home 4 bags for me the other day. Uh Oh! Mommy's in a sugar coma again.
.....living contently with the life that I have been given to live, knowing that I am unconditionally adored by my Heavenly Father.
It really makes us happy when we feel loved and adored especially knowing that we did not do anything to deserve it. :) It makes us to know that we can never make it go away no matter how bad that we are. Now that is happy!! :)
"...to know the Saviour". etc, etc. Do you know that song? We used to sing in church, but I can't remember most of the words. I tried to look it up on the 'net, but couldn't find it.
My hubby being sweet while I am sick. He has brought me hot tea and he has given me a back rub and he is cleaning the house for a buyer to come look at it this weekend since I am too sick to do it. And, I would do the same for him if the situation were reversed... :D
I'm a wife and mom of 5. I work part time from my home while I babysit various neighborhood kids in addition to all the full time duties of staying at home. Yay me. Where's my medal?

happening only when we abide in Christ.
Relaxed family dinners, easy conversations, laughing...generally feeling connected to my family.
Some days it's just realizing I juggled everything without losing my mind : )
Knowing that those in my life love me through the hard times and love past my flaws. ;)
