Did I get this injury by:
a) Running up the stairs, missing the step and scraping my leg
b) Stepping on a toy that came up and smacked me in the shin then scraped it's way down as I jumped to get away
c) Scratching my leg with my other foot while wearing a sock, thus rubbing the skin off of my leg
d) Going out to start the car in flip flops while it's covered in snow and ice and falling down, scraping my leg on the crusty snow bank
If you guessed C then you are the WINNER!
Clearly, *I* am not a winner. I rubbed the skin off my leg with my own foot and didn't even notice. Now that, my friends, is a special kind of stupid.
All hail the chief!
Have a Tuesday.

Right now I have an odd mark on my arm from burning myself while cooking chicken. I cut myself with Ray's drill, not once but twice last week. That's right, I said drill. I wore crocs to take the trash out on ice. I'm not sure how I don't have a broken butt right now. All I have left to say is welcome to my world. ;)
Funny and ouch! I was thinking it would be C...it kind of looks like carpet burn!
Don't feel too bad, I have done this too. More than once.
OUCH!! sounds like something I would do!!:)
OUCH!! Hope you are healed up soon!
I was rooting for the stairs. I have done that and um, it looks the same. But that is way more special to inflict this on yourself without knowing it.
Sometimes you just gotta scratch!
I was thinking flip flops in the snow, because that is how I roll people type response. Shucks!
Ouch! You were really getting after it!
I do that all the time... My skin gets so dry in the winter, as much as I try not to scratch, it is so annoying...
I thought the crusty snowbank did it. Way to go Ace.
p.s. there are lotions for itchiness. ;o)
Wow...what are your socks made of? Steel wool? ;) Hope it heals soon.
Don't you hate it when things like that happen?
With 4 kids, I was betting on the toy. I ask you, is there anything worse than stepping on a pile of Legos in the middle of the floor in the dark? Apparently yes - attack of the steel wool socks!
Gosh, Heidi. I'm just impressed that your legs are all shaved and smooth like that...I've kind of let things slip. My "winter legs" lets call them.
Sheesh! I was going for "D" ...
That is seriously sad. Ha. You need to take care of yourself. :o)
Hahaha! That's a good one, Heidi. Hope your leg feels better soon!
I am soooo sorry for laughing at your pain! sort of...
Ouch! I have done that before. I must have that same special kind of stupidness too. LOL
Oh no-- ouch!! I'm trying not to laugh...
Oopsie! That is one for the record books!
