you're here before I can even blink.
In the winter it's bitter and dark.
A happy time? What a Lark!
With Summer we get an early sunrise,
which means my snooze button has met it's demise.
Morning, Morning - You've been unfriended.
My favorite time is after you've ended.
Please, oh please, just let me be
take a vacation, I beg you! Geez!
Keep your light, your sparkle and dew
I'm not ready to start the day anew.
Morning, Morning, you really suck,
you make my children run amuck.
A moments peace I'm never afforded
my attempts at quiet are always thwarted.
Cheery people, happy faces
just need to stay in their own little spaces.
Morning, Morning - we're over and through.
Let the world know I've banished you.
