Iron Chef: PICKLES!

Photobucket

Is it hard to make things with Pickles? Apparently!

Looks like this month we're going to have a head to head competition between

Sarah @ I Blame My Mother with Pickle Rolls
Cheryl @ Spinning Coaster with Fried Pickles

Congrats Sarah & Cheryl! The two of you will be playing to win a $10 GC and a new Tupperware Pick-A-Deli.

I'm told the picture shown last time was the wrong one so...yk..here's the right one:

I will put up a poll in my sidebar some time this week - I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and TRY these two recipes!!! Then come back here and vote on them so one of these lovely ladies can win some cool prizes.

You have until Tuesday, October 27th to cast your vote. The winner will be announced the next day.

Thanks for playing along!

MMMMMM fried pickles are one of my favorite treats but they are so easy to mess up. I'll try them.

Honestly? When I saw pickles, I thought you'd lost your mind. heh. Sorry. I'm an honest girl.

I HAVE had pickles wrapped with ham and cream cheese before....but yeah, *I* didn't make that. LOL But it WAS very yummy! LOL

I will try...gulp...

Heidi hasn't lost her mind - my husband has. He always wondered why the chairman didn't have pickles as a secret ingredient... um, ya - there is a reason for it and I am pretty sure we proved that point here.

Sorry loyal Sacred and Profane readers... seemed like a good idea at the time. :)

Heidi... guess I'll stick to entering and judging from now on. Woo boy!

I do not think we will be trying the recipes this month. I do wish everyone (Sarah & Cheryl) the best of luck.

my fave pickles are ones my former sister in law introduced me to.... you cover big kosher dills with cream cheese and then wrap thinly sliced ham around it. wrap in foil and chill, then slice up and serve. Everyone kinda balks when I first tell about, but they are SOO addicting!! YUM!
