Thanks for Nothing

My neighbor came over today while I was at the school giving Sienna some Benadryl & Motrin. (digression: Sienna rolled down the hill and over the top of a bee yesterday. The Bee stung her, then stuck in her leg and she had to pull it out! She's a sore girl today.)

What? Oh.

So my neighbor brought me a gift while I was gone. There was a card with the gift that said:

"heidi - You make others so happy simply by being so nice. Thanks for being such a great friend, mom & person who deserves nothing but the best :-) Enjoy!"

Awww!! It was so thoughtful and sweet of her to think of me! I'm touched! But, uh, what's up with this gift? I mean...is she trying to tell me something? What is she saying?

"Thanks for everything fatty."

"Two tons of love inside you, yo!"

"You are a GINORMOUS person that gives so much."

"You are just HUGE in my life."

Thanks for caring enough to give the very best, eh?

HA!

For the record - I mentioned in passing that I was interested in trying the DVD so she snagged it for me. She's not a hag, I am.

Hopefully she doesn't read your blog! Ha! I am willing to give that a shot come December...after Christmas...and maybe New Years. ;o)

That's great...I love this DVD...but discovered it only works if I actually follow her and not just sit on the couch and watch it...damn.

Without that explaination, I was thinking that was kind of mean. But it is sweet that she got it for you after you just mentioned it:-)

I would have been upset...unless I said in passing it looked interesting. :)

I bought it in April and I think it would work great. I just have to stop quiting after day 3.

What? Life happens...

I think I missed something here. I don't know what DVD you got, but I think you should just be flattered and nothing else, LOL!

Love the new look (it's probably only new to me, since I've been gone a while with no computer at home)!

Jillian scares me.

Seriously she'd probably make me cry if I ever met her in real life.

I'd tell you to enjoy that DVD, but Jillian frightens me.

Ask her if maybe you could exchange it for Season 1 of Entourage.

Wow that is one heck of a gift. Interesting.

A real friend would have brought ice cream too! ;-P

That's funny! Although I am skeptical that real people can actually look that good sans surgery. Surely Jillian has had a nip or too...it would really make the rest of us (yk, me) feel better about ourselves!

I hope Sienna feels better soon!

Crap. You just reminded me that I didn't do this yet today.
When you start this, don't plan on walking down stairs any time soon, but enjoy the results.

Well since you mentioned you wanted to try it, I think that is nice. I have it. It's hard but good.

Let us know what you think about it.

XOXO
Jen

I've tried it but wasn't particularly thrilled with the results. I think I was hoping for a miracle that never showed up. We had 20 days before vacation and I stuck to it the whole 20 days...didn't change by a single pound.
Oh well...I guess it's back to the Y for me. Now that the kids are all in school I can work out in the Y for longer than 90 minutes (the limit at the child watch room).
Have fun!

I've been wanting to try that DVD! But, I live in po-dunk, and can't find it around here anywhere. No rush to find it right now, though...

I decided to get the DVD at the library, to check it out before I spent good money on one. Anyway, I brought it home, went downstairs to play it, and....no DVD player. (Actually, we have always played our DVD's through a Playstation 2 of my oldest son's.) Our son...the one who's supposedly studying very hard at college...took his game system with him to school. Nice.

Looking forward to all kinds of funny posts over the next 30 days!

How incredibly sweet of your neighbor to give you exactly what you wanted. :) I hope you get a lot out of it. I need to get my sorry butt out of this recliner and get busy.
