A lot of the recipes are coming from this book that the girls checked out from the library and they are goign to be helping prepare them.

I failed to mention the deadline for submission in my last Iron Chef post! Deadline is TOMORROW night!!! That's Tuesday night for those of you that are day-challenged like me. So, post your recipes and let me know that you have, so I can link them up. I don't have any strict rules as to what KIND of recipe it is, just as long as your child makes it with minimum help or only supervision. Good luck!

I am in a Minnesota Accent!!! So, if you really want a LIVE "Hi there Ho there" just let me know and I will Vlog it for you!!!
Been missing all the blog stuff on vacation, I am trying to play a little catch up! I know what you mean about CAMP. I sent emails every day and got nothing in return except a child who is coming home thinking he does not need parents anymore...WHAT? Who wrote the check for that little excursion????
Hope you had a great 4th!!! ;)
Oooh...lots of yummy stuff here, I'm going to have to try a few of these I think. Thanks for sharing!
Hiya Neighbor!! I need to look into that iron chef this time. I dunno, have the kid make a whole meal himself? He's not quite 7. I think that means we'd get PB&J. ;)
Pretend my entire comment is in a Minnesota accent. ( I love that accent btw)
That Hawaiian beef Teriyaki Kenans with Grilled pineapple looks sooooooooo good. Ya. I will have to try that! :)
I am seriously addicted to this whole Iron Chef thing, even have my 3 year old making a dish to enter. Crazy, eh? Thanks, Heidi, for giving me something to blog about in this "dry spell" I have been having this summer. All three of my kids loved making their submissions, they are naturals in the kitchen.
Kind of hopin' others enter soon though.... come on Mama's, get those kids in the kitchen! :)
I have no idea what a Minnesota accent sounds like. You're gonna have to vlog this sometime!
Your menu sounds yummy...I can't participate in the Iron Chef, though...my kiddos are grown (with one currently working a 2:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. shift)! :/
Hope you have a great week!
That is a yummy week you have planned.
