Here's the bookshelf in it's entirety:

Top shelf? Dusty pictures of the girls. What? The boys don't exist yet in that world, eh? Yeah..either that or they look just like the girls. Who knows.
Next shelf?

That's where the Bibles are. I think Rob is collecting them. The girls' Bibles and my Bible are there, too.
After that..
My shelf of books to read (click to read titles):

Not all of those. Just from Expecting Joy to Liars Diary. I have 3 more in line to read: Turning Tables by Heather Macdowell; Willing Spirits by Phyllis Schieber; and Fade Away by Harlan Coben. Th rest, to the right? Those are Rob's books.
And I just finished Sleep Toward Heaven by Amanda Eyre Ward. Good, melancholy book. I love this author. Read her if you get a chance.
The next shelf is full of books Rob's collecting.
Here's the bottom shelf:

Left side is books I've read that I have up on Paperback Swap right now. Right side is Rob's stuff.
So what does my bookshelf say about me? What does yours say about you?
B says "Peace out, yo."

I like the idea of taking a picture of the book shelves. But we have over 2000 books in this house and 7 bookshelves 3 the size of the one pictured (roughly) on your page. :) We like books. A LOT.
I read about 30,000 pages last year and over 30 books the last 2 years. So I TOO looooove to read.
I love reading too...I was right there getting in trouble for reading too much!! I actually just bought another bookself for my house b/c I had so many books. And no, they are not all vampire books. lol
I've heard about paperback swap...do you like it? How does it work?
I don't really have a "to be read" bookshelf. Mine are kind of scattered here and there. We love reading here though!
I am at work so can't see the pictures of your book shelves but am very much looking forward to coming back to do so.
My bookshelves today certainly don't say the same thing they would have said even 5 years ago! Gone are the Jackie Collins/Stephen King/Dean Koontz books, which have been replaced with much calmer, focused reading. Very little fiction and NO self-help books...icky!
Actually, a lot of our bookshelves are filled with my husband's books, which I also read and lots of study/reference materials for seminary school!
I don't even have a book shelf. Ugh. All of my books are in the drawers of my desk taking up valuable storage space. I need to get reading more...if I can find the time.
Seriously! B is so cute! What does your shelf say? That you are intellegent! And I am pretty sure I spelled that wrong, which tells you a lot about me!
I think my heart went pitter patter with just the mention of books!
We have a ton of books, just no time to read. Ugh. I need more time in the day. B is precious!
I like how you have a section of books to read. What a great idea. I'm always finishing a book without having another to take its place.
Hey girl! I should do the same. I have even more books than you (I'm shamed to say). I have them scattered EVERYWHERE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TO READ, though it seems I rarely have time now.
Many of my books are about spiritual warfare and testimonials. I have recently (within the past year or two) gotten into some fiction.
I am really bad about buying books and not reading them until a year or two later. I just love books whether I read them or not. Maybe I should be a librarian. Ha.
(Thanks for the follow!)
