I have a few TV shows that I consider "Can't Miss" even though I generally *do* miss them and end up watching them online. Grey's Anatomy & Desperate Housewives are two of these shows. We don't watch too much TV at our house - oh, not because we don't believe in it. No, we're BIG believers in TV, man. Big. Huge. We just don't have cable and only get two channels other than PBS, so we miss a lot. I recently stumbled upon a show after hearing my friends rave about it - it's in it's third season and I'd never once seen it before. Now? I don't know how I live with out it.
Yeah, Army Wives. I went to Hastings to pick up Season Two, Disk 5 today and some hussy has checked it OUT. I'm so mad and sad! I neeeeeeeeed it! *sigh*
So now I'm asking you guys - what's your favorite TV show? What show have I missed that I should start from Season 1, Episode 1 and watch through? I'm nearly caught up with Army wives and then what? Back to the HGTV tapes my mom so graciously records and mails to me.
Alas, even my gay boyfriend can't cheer me up this time.
So, what do I watch next?

Bones is one of my favorite shows! And Smallville! I love me some Clark Kent!
24 was a good one, if you haven't seen any of those. They'll keep you up nights though, man do they leave you hanging!
I own Gilmore Girls the Complete Series. The girls and I watch it together, kind of a mother/daughter thing.
I also adore Bones. I even went so far as to read all of the books that the series is based on. (Kathy Reichs...they are really good if you like that kind of thing)
We also own most of the Smallville seasons on DVD and the complete Series of Sports Night.
OH!!! And let's not forget Friends. I own all of them too.

We love LOST! We missed the first few seasons, and started watching in on DVD to catch up! It is great...a little strange...but it makes you think, and it will leave you all confused and wanting more! We just started watching 24 from the beginning, there are like 8 seasons, so we are going to be busy for a while!
Your gay boyfriend had to grow on me, but I can tolerate him now. I don't watch too much t.v. Usually the Food Network. I like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The food they show looks incredible. House Hunters and Property Virgins drive me nuts, but I watch. It's a love hate thing.
You watch Dexter!!! It is a showtime series. A little dark, but awesome at the same time. I also love CSI, Entourage (my celebrity boyfriend is Adrien Grenier) and anything on food network or HGTV!

My oldest and I are going to have a Lost marathon. It's one of those shows I wanted to watch but never did. Now it's something we're gonna do together. Ya know ship the little one off, pull the blinds and sit in front of the boob-tub for I don't know 18 hours or more! Ahh good times.

Shows I like lately are Bones, NCIS, CSI & CSI NY (the Miami one has great babes, but thats all),and Deal or No Deal; my wife is into Medium and Are ya Smarter than a 5th Grader, but not me. I like David Letterman, but cannot stand Conan....not much else. Used to like the classics, Gilligans Island, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Oh yea, and I like that show Dexter, though I am wondering if he is still gay (from 6 feet under days)? He seems, well, conflicted.
I second Lost! It's one of the best shows on tv.

You watch project runway don't you? that's a good one. Others I love are Criminal Minds, L&O Criminal Intent, The Closer is GREAT!, ummmm.... I think most of the others I watch you already watch. LOL

We watch Greys, CSI Miami, when they are on but lately its been So You Think You Can Dance. Carey always gets me hooked on those kind of shows. It is good though. If I dont watch her shows with her then I cant watch sports when they are on either. At least she watches the games with me.
Its the same way at the movie rental store. We have to get a chick flick, and then I have to comprimise with her on my movie. I like the gross scary movies and she WILL NOT do that so I have to get something like uhhhhhhh I cant think oh well the last one we saw together was that numbers movie with Nicholas Cage. What was it?? Bad short term memory here....... Knowing thats it. I had to call Carey just now to get that. LOL

Try "True Blood" (It's a vampire show, of course!) I've heard Amy Wives is good...I haven't checked it out yet though.
