Yk what? I have an opinion about Michael Jackson dying. I'm tired of the 24/7 coverage of his death and the "mystery" surrounding it. Let me break it down for you, mmmmkay?
He sang.
He mutilated himself.
He MAY/or may not have molested little boys.
He mutilated himself some more.
He died.
The end.
Carry on.
Stop giving him some Hero's funeral. The man is a pedophile and the only reason he wasn't convicted is because the world runs on Cash and he had it.
He's dead. Sad. Sorry. Move on.
Every day our military men and women deploy to unknown areas for things they have never seen nor experienced before. We pray they come back, but when they do they generally come back completely different people than when they left us.
But let's talk about Micheal Jackson dying, shall we?
The unemployment rate is higher than it's been in decades. People can't find a job and are losing the ones they have faster than you can blink, every day.
But let's talk about Michael Jackson dying, shall we?
Housing are being foreclosed on. Business are closing. People are laying off workers and people are losing their livelihoods. Every day.
But let's talk about Michael Jackson dying, shall we?
Really? Seriously? Honestly?
Really: Nearly 100,000 men and women have DIED in the Iraq War, to date and documented.
Seriously: The unemployment rate was 9.4% in may. That means that nearly 10% of the population has filed for unemployment.
Honestly: 6% of people have had their homes foreclosed on this May.
But let's talk about Michael Jackson dying, shall we?
Look - the man was a weirdo. He was a freak. He had a bad childhood and was just completely whacked out..at best. At worst he was a pedophile and a child molester. The fact is, he died. Sad? Sure. It's always sad when someone dies. But put it into perspective okay?
In the reality of all that is going on around the world today, MJ dying is not even a drop in the bucket.
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
Giddy up.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'll stick with you on it too.
Amen! I think you've said it best. Right here. Right now.
DITTO and AMEN SISTAH!
And worse, his death is keeping the news people off the REAL news, ya know, there's stuff happening all over the globe that really matters. But they want to talk about somebody who couldn't even find two gloves? Oh, and that other lady who died, what was her name, Farrah Faucett, oh yeah.
Oh don't get me started!!!!!
I agree with purplemoose. Nobody is talking about the other two people who died this week. At all. They aren't even in the news anymore.. and thats really sad.
Amen girl AMEN! Sodiers are dying almost everyday to give their lives so that we might enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we so often take for granted. Nothing is ever said about them.
Hopefully with the 4th coming up MJ will go away and more focus will be pt where it should.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
I agree. He was an artist no doubt, but enough is enough. His life was a tragedy. he had some very rough times & unfortunetly let them get the best of him. Sad no doubt...but there are bigger things to report on for sure. Well said.
Can I get an AMEN?! Yesterday I was watching CNN and after about 20 minutes of MJ coverage the news anchor actually said "Now there is other news going on in the world so in a minute we will give you a brief update on the situation in Iran." Seriously? It's not like the president died! The man was a has-been singer! And, HELLO, a child molester!!
Although, Thriller is one awesome song!
You said it in a nutshell...!!
I totally agree.
I've been struggling with this whole thing since the news broke. And this morning, at 4:00 a.m. when I was wide awake, some news show was broadcasting pics of him being loaded into the ambulance unconscious. Are you kidding me? What has become of society? Seriously. Sad I tell ya. I'm with you. :P
Amen! (and I never say that churchy stuff aloud but this time i am )
Personally I'm gonna start a conspiracy theory related story about his death. Methinks someone bumped the dude off so that we wouldn't see what was happening in the world around us. If we're bombarded with the horror of losing such a "great" person we won't be awake for the N. Koreans running amok, the government shoving more legislation down our throats, and who knows what else. Yep I'm heading for the conspiracy camps....cause I think THEY offed him ;)
i say, the guy left a HUGE mark on the world. he changed it a bit. no, not politically, or economically...nothing like that.
there just aren't too many poeple who impact the world, like that.
HE WAS A FREAK!! A TOTAL FREAK!! I give you that.
this is in NO WAY to discount our soldiers and those who die for our country everyday...NO WAY. those guys leave an even bigger mark on our country.
but, i've enjoyed reminiscing a bit and taking a break from hearing about how crappy the economy is.
agree to disagree, ma'am.
In a few months there will be Jacko sightings and the news will have something new to talk about.
I agree about the coverage on him. 1st day, understandable, 2nd day, maybe, 3rd day and beyond, enough already! I want to know what N.Korea is up to, not what part of MJ's face fell off in 1992.
i agree
I agree so much, Heidi, I stole it (with due credit, of course) and put it on my blog. Maybe you'll get a few new followers out of it. LOL
I'm sick of hearing it, so I turned my tv off. I'll read a bit...from that big black book called the Bible. No mention of Michael Jackson in it at all.
We have so many more pressing things that we need to know about. MJ's death?....well....kids everywhere will sleep a little safer.
I concur. It's funny how fast the world forgets his transgressions. He made great music but was also a criminal. We shouldn't idolize him in death when he was so f'd up in life.
AMEN!!!
AMEN sister, right there with ya!
I with you. I mean, I'm thrilled the man gave us Thriller and the Moon Walk, but enough is enough.
Preach it, girlfriend! I totally agree.
Check out my latest post (Vlogemotion). You'll have to hear what my son said on his video.
Agreed. I have been saying all weekend that the fact of his death isn't nearly as sad as what his life had become.
What? Are you off your rocker? How could there EVER be enough about MJ? I want MORE people, MORE.
jk
When you put it that way, I am kinda glad he is dead. Pedophile mf-er. Do the moonwalk in hell,B!
Well said, well said! I just have to mention that I saw (on Larry King no doubt) a video of Joe Jackson live at the BET awards over the weekend pimping out his new record label, nothing like whoring your son out on his death. No wonder the guy was such a fruitcake!
He could move like no one else ever though, even with all the crotch grabs!
Please tell me your blog title came from the song "Star Trekking". I think that song is sooooo funny!!! And NO ONE else seems to have heard of it.
And if it's not then everyone will just think I'm weird.
MICHAEL THE NARC-ANGEL
Millions of little members of the worldwide F.F.A. (Future Followers of the Antichrist) have finally learned how to find a certain part of their lower anatomy and quickly touch it while dancing - thanks to Michael Jackson, the highest paid Lower Anatomy Toucher of all time! Special thanks also go to the Jesus-bashing, Hell-bound Hollywood moguls who were just as quick to see higher profits in lower anatomies! [Just saw this opinion on the web. Other grabby items on MSN, Google, etc. include "Separation of Raunch and State," "David Letterman's Hate, Etc.," "Tribulation Index becomes Rapture Index," and "Bible Verses Obama Avoids." - something for everyone!]
Love the title.
I saw a comment on Bye Bye, Pie! that made me snort my coffee out of my nose. Here's the link (look for Lety's comment):

I just feel sorry for his kids. Even more than before. Because, what's worse than having a freak for a dad? Having your freak dad die and everyone talk about for months on end and your grandparents fight over his money and try to milk his death for everything they can.
Evidently people on thia blog are predisposed to believing any old lie dreamed up by greedy and grasping people surrounding Michael Jackson. On both occasions where he was accused of child molestation there was no evidence he acted inapprpriately. On the much publicised child molestation case, it was revealed that the child in question, as well as his mother had attempted to accuse other people of child abuse to extort money. The kid had cancer and Michael Jackson paid for his treatment. He is only alive today because Michael Jackson helped him. It is sad that anyone's lies could be repeated by internet hacks such as on this blog without citing any proof. Such ignorance.
As an Irish person who has lived through bombs, might I just just say: get a bloody life. Yes, he's dead. Yes, he might have been a kiddie-fiddler.Yes, he might not. He is nowhere near as important as the Yanks/Brits (predominately) who are dying in Iraq or the Brits dying in Afghanistan. Over here, on the night he died, I heard the Sky News network interviewing the Rev.Al Sharpton and he came out with "Live Aid would not have happened without Michael." CRAP!!!!!!!!!! Bob Geldof and Midge Ure organised Live Aid. Michael had nothing to do with it. As a European looking at all this, it's a case of the bullshit has started again.I could say sorry if you're offended but this is what we see/hear.
