Are you always right? Do you have to get the last word in to every conversation, no matter what? Even if it appears that you MAY be wrong do you have to turn things so that you COULD have been right?
Being correct doesn't make you right, just so ya know.
You can have the correct answer or be correct in a situation, but if you are mean or rude about the way you present your correctness? It takes away your righteousness and you are now correct, but not right.
If you have to be right no matter what the cost - someone elses feelings, perhaps - it may make you correct, but it doesn't make you right.
Sometimes being 'right' isn't about being correct, at all. Sometimes being right is all about being correct, and not having to shove someone elsse face in it.
Look, no one (present parties included) likes to be wrong. We don't wake up in the morning and set out to be proven wrong that day. But sometimes it happens.
Sometimes you're wrong about something. Sometimes you're correct about something and sometimes you're right about it.
I guess it just all depends, doesn't it?

Hmmm...my kids always think they are right & need the last word...then so do I, makes things interesting. Why do I bother to argue with a 3 year old?
very well said.....now if this could only be well remembered...by me....much more often (just go ask my hubby he'll tell you!!)
Great insight! I love the way you said it...I am kind of a know-it-all...but I don't think I ever try to be rude when proving my point.
Except to my brother...he deserves it.
Too deep for me!
Someone ruffle your feathers? I am instantly turned off by someone who can't reason without being a jerk about it!. Nicely said, Mrs. Heidi!
Huh? . . . oh I get it. Oh yeah. If I could take this to heart I think it would solve a good percentage of my marital issues.
