What up, holmes?

Just running through to say 'Hi!'. Things here have been crazy. I picked up a couple new clients at work and one of them has me completely SWAMPED right now. The good news is that I'm back up to full-time work again, even if it is only temporary.

I'm knee deep in clothes right now as I take pictures and get ready to sell off things that don't fit in order to make funds to buy the next round for the kids. I'm also getting ready to list some baby stuff on Craigslist in the hopes of being able to get a double jogger stroller, used, so I can take the boys out on some walk/runs. Yeah, I said runs. *sigh*

Sienna has started guitar lessons and we're gearing up for the end of Choir and the girls final performance of the season.

I'm reading a fantastic book by Jodi Picoult that has me wondering about it when I'm *not* reading it. I really enjoy her writing style! So much so that I bump her to the front of the line when I get my hands on her books. *wink*

Brennan is crawling all over the place and thinks he's a chipmunk. He finds the smallest things on the floor and tucks them in his cheeks or on the roof of his mouth. Then I notice that he's an open mouth, drooling fool and have to go fishing for whatever he has hidden. Thank God he hasn't choked to death on anything, yet.

Cara is loving the warm weather because it means she can PLAY. I've been lax on her chores because the child NEEDS to be outside playing and mommy NEEDS for her to be outside burning off excess energy.

Corban is such a little lovebug. Even if he *is* totally high maintenance. We've been working on shapes, colors and numbers lately and he's picking them up and likes to practice them with..yk...skittles. HA!

B is being dedicated on Saturday at church and then I've invited Rob's family over for lunch afterwards. Sunday is Easter but I work all day. We'll do their baskets and egg hunts outside but nothing much beyond that and a dinner for the 6 of us. My mom is coming next Thursday for the weekend and my birthday is the 22nd. Sienna has 3 huge class trips coming up; I need to make dental appointments for the 3 bigger kids; well-child checks for all 4 kids; pre-authorize Brennan's surgery; match EOB's with bills and flex checks to get the hospital paid off; make a new chore list. Somewhere in all of that I need to get the house cleaned up and all the darned laundry done. I also need to head to Old Navy and get some shorts and capris that fit.

Oh, yeah, Rob wants me to pay some attention to HIM, too, so I gotta do that.

It's neverending, I tell ya....never ending. (Shyeah, like you don't know that already?!)

There's no point to this post other than to pop in and say Hi. I know it's boring. LOL

Tomorrow (Wednesday) I'll announce the Iron Chef recipes for April. I work the crazy client from 6am until 9am my time, then I have a break until 11 - so you have until 9am MST to post a recipe and link up to Mr. Linky.

I have all the pictures for my food post cropped and I'm hoping to have it up tomorrow. I also hope to put a new writing post up on Thursday. I'm HOPING to make better blog rounds on Friday, since I don't work and it's supposed to rain so heading to the park is out.

Let me leave you and just say: Have a Day. :-)

I seriously didn't know until this past week that on top of EVERYTHING that you do, you also work full time. W-O-W. You are one busy mama.

I didn't find this post boring at all. I love the mundane things {in other people's lives, lol}.

Why is Brennan having surgery?

And don't you dare think that I was referring to you the other day girl. Seriously. I wasn't. I was referring to a couple smaller-ish blogs that NEVER once, not one time responded to any comment I ever made. And it annoyed the heck outta me. NOT YOU! lol

Soooooooo, when do you get some 'you' time??

after you're done selling off your stuff for craigslist could you come here and do mine? it'd kind of be like a vacation...and who wouldn't want to go on vacation to wisconsin!!

Congrats on being back to full time work! And, even though it makes your life a little more crazy, I sure hope it lasts a very long time.

I love Jodi Picoult. I have read almost every one of her books. My favorite is "My Sisters Keeper".

I'm back from vaca and ready to be a guest judge! Some slowcooker recipes are right up my alley right now! I have no time and no energy to make elaborate things!

I must say that we are no longer at the "kid picks up everything off the floor and puts it in his mouth" stage, or as I liked to call it, "baby vaccuum cleaner." I trained the babies to show me what they had picked up, so I could take the small bits of garbage (that I should have cleaned up already, bad mommy me!) away. They still bring me bits of stuff, esp the almost 2 year old.

Well, you do keep yourself busy, doncha? At least you won't be bored right? Riiiiiiight. Good luck with getting everything done and have a good day!

Since you are so busy, I won't mention how we are up at my in laws house this week so I don't have to do any chores around my house. Cause that would be mean. And I am not mean.
I did, however, forget to request this time off from work so I will still be working nights this week, thank goodness for laptops. Glad to hear your work schedule is back where you are getting more hours...even though that means crazy days for you. One nice thing about my work-at-home-from-the-computer job is it is only at night. I usually don't even start until after the kids are all in bed. But it isn't even close to part time let alone full time.
Anyhoo...hope things all fall into place for you this week. Wouldn't that be nice?

I hear ya!! The days just keep getting busier and busier don't they?

I have never read Jodi Picoult...might have to check her out. Poor Brennan, is he OK? We've got the drool going on over here too...Melody actually slipped in a drool puddle today. lol.

OK, which Picoult book are you reading right now? She is an awesome writer. I have been reading her books like crazy recently!
