Seriously Sacred Tuesday.

I'm changing things up, here. What? It's my blog I can do what I want. *stomps foot*

I love doing the Seriously posts - Sacred, Profane and Secret - but I want to spread them out some. So here's how it's gonna work from now on:

Tuesdays will be Seriously (Something) Tuesday.

The first Tuesday is Seriously Sacred day. I'll let you post what is Sacred to you.

The second Tueday is the ever popular Profane day. You get to rant away.

Third Tuesday is the day you get to spill your secrets.

Fourth Tuesday will be a classic Sacred & Profane, in photos, day. Dunno what that means? It means this, and this, and this...

And there ya have it. Seriously Tuesday is Seriously changed.

Today is the first Tuesday of the month so it's Seriously Sacred day...

Tell me about something that youd be lost without, if you lost it.

I seriously liked the old way. But, O.K., why not, its your cookie jar, so I will play. I really, REALLY like feeling good, exercising, eating right, being active, working my brain. I dont know who to thank (that would be the LORD) well, I guess I do know who to thank. Thanks. Amen Out here.

The one thing that is sacred to me (besides the obvious: family, health, yada yada yada) is my...Kissy bear. I have had this worn and tattered thing since I was two young to have any memories from. He has a hard plastic head and hands that he can put in his little round mouth. I will never get rid of him and have said I want to be burried with him. It thrills me that my son has a lovey like that too. When he tires of his then I will put it up with Kissy so I can give it back when he grows up. Yeah, I'm a dork :)

My sacred thing would be my sheet, its really a security blanket for a 29 yr old but ssshhh dont tell anyone. I have had this sheet since I was about 10 when I confiscated it from my Nans closet and I sleep with it EVERY night. Its from the late 60s, gold, orange, and lime green, puke colors! It has gone everywhere w/ me, college, trips, hospital rooms, and is rarely left behind. I think its an OCD thing maybe, not quite sure haha! Seriously Sad I know!

My sacred thing is my stuffed pig. Say what you want, but I've had him for 11 years and still sleep with him every night.

I'd be sad if I lost Rusty. Rusty is my stuffed dog that I've had since I was 2. Good grief, he's old. Rusty lost his bow around his neck, and his tongue and nose, and he's had his stomach operated on by my brother and sister, but he's still in somewhat good shape. I don't sleep with Rusty, but he does sit on my dresser and I see him every day. He's a sweet memory.

It's good to change things up. Keeps it new and fresh. You're right, it's your blog, you can do what you want with it!!

Sounds like we're mixing sacred and secret here! :) I like your idea, three on Tuesdays is too many for me to think about. And my can't do without. . . aside from my God, my family, my Bible, my house, my bed and pillow and blanket, a daily shower, . . . have to be my computer.

So if I'm going to try to beat my "perpetual tardiness" I need to get off my computer and go. Bye!

Other than the obvious (friends, family, etc.), my garden is sacred to me:-)

the only obvious thing I can think of is my kids. If I lost them, I'd be lost. Maybe that's why I'm still a bit po'd at my dad for walking them through the middle of two brush fires :(
