Show & Tell

Hola Mi Amigos.

'Sup?

Que Pasa?

Guess what? I have some things to show you. Are you dripping with the stinky sweat of anticipation? Blech. Go shower, ya freak.

Show:
Ok, first. I mentioned that it sucks when your purple highlights do not, in fact, turn purple. *sigh* I don't see any purple...do you?

Second - Look! LOOK! Look what I MADE! No, really...I MADE them. With my own two hands. By myself. I dunno what came over me but I saw a quick and easy tutorial for these and thought, "Hey - I can do that!" So I made some for my friend Robin's twins for their birthday on Tuesday. Oh, I DO hope they love them!

Tell:
I'm working on a big ole post based on a question I got asked quite a few times not so long ago. I was asked, in a round about way, what I DO eat, since I can't eat so much. So, I've been snapping some pictures of my meals (when I remember!) and I'm gonna share some of those with you. Then this? will be a show..not a tell.

Now, forgive me if I seem scarce this week. I just got Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult and I *totally* bumped it to the front of the line and want to devour it. She's one of my all-time favorite authors. I'm so far behind on my reading! I have a STACK of books waiting for my love and affection. *sigh*

Have a day!

Don't forget to smile. ;-)

I am so with you on sometimes having to take a break from blogging! I love to blog but sometimes it consumes me so I have to take a reality check. Love the photo at the end, who could be mad at you now for leaving us in the blogging world for a book! Have a great day!

What a great project...I'm sure they will love them...it's okay to take a break from blogging to read or get our priorities straight again. As a matter of fact next week...on Friday has been declared a Unplug the Computer Day...I am planning on joining in! (Cannot remember who's blog...I plan on posting about it this week.)

Can't wait to see your chicken reviews and to see if I win that fabulous apron...I've got my fingers and toes crossed!

I love, love, love the tutu's. They are too cute. Where did you find the tutorial? You know, cause the huge Rubbermaid bin full of dress up clothes isn't ever enough for my two youngest. They always want more. But I would actually get rid of some of the junky stuff to make room for a couple of these. You did a great job. Way to be crafty...and I am thinking they don't look too expensive either. Always a bonus.
I can see just a bit of purplebut it might just be the lighting. Did you strip your hair first? I know absolutely nothing about dyeing hair but I was listening to this teenager talk about her purple hair(and they usually do have a clue). She said her mom had to strip the hair of color first and then put the purple in since she had dark hair. I could be way off but I thought I would throw that out there.
Brennan is too cute!
Don't worry about emails...there's no rush, go enjoy your book!

I need that tutorial, my little Goose loves tutu's. Great job, they look amazing.

Love the picture of the little guy. Hair color looks good, even if there's no purple.

My hair is so dark that it's hard for me to use colors.

The tutus look fabulous! Be honest - did you HATE making them? Because the first time I made one I sooo hated it! I'm a lot faster now though!

I love me a good book - but it's dangerous for me to read. Let's just say that when I'm enjoying a good book, blogging isn't the only thing that's neglected!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Unless you bleach your hair, the "purple" will look more like "maroon". I have tried the punk-rocker-purple, but I wasn't going to bleach my hair. It looked about the same as yours does.

BTW, the volcano did its thing this morning. that's why I'm here so early! That and Google Reader finally updated your blog! YAY!

I make those TuTu's too and was addicted to making them for a while. I thought about giving one away during my week of blogoversary giveaways...we shall see. Your's turned out great. I like the hair color...can't wait to see the actual cut too. I am going in to get chopped on Saturday. I am so split endy...is that a word?

The tutus are awesome. Where did you find the tutorial?? I just read Change of Heart too and I just sent it out via paperback swap. I'm sure it wasn't to you though. I think I might have remembered sending a book to a Heidi! :o) It was so good. I finished it in 2 plane rides! You need to post a pic of your hair when you are standing upright so we can actually see it!! :o)

The two tutu's are too too cute.

Can we see your hair in it's normal stage, unless of course that is how you wear it. I do see some purple. Looks good.

Enjoy your book, and your cute baby boy.

Hey! I have that same basket behind B! Except more seagrass color - less orange, but I'm guessing in the light - with the thingie- and look that way - and voila, same basket! :) I have those seagrass baskets around my house everywhere - they're nearly indestructible. Oh, and yeah - good post. ;)
