I love my wife, and my good friends. Without them, I dont know what else I would be doing. God? Well, we are working on that. Lost another good friend to cancer last week. That makes 3 in the last, oh 3 or 4 years now. Co-worker with a great family, one child she saw through college, but wont see her grandkids. I guess I need to pray more.
the times that i quit thinking and my head is quiet. it doesn't happen often enough...but, the peace and calm that i feel in those moments when i am just present, in the moment...those are INCREDIBLY SACRED!
the times when i am not thinking about what's coming up, or where we have to be, or what i should be doing, or what i'm going to blog about.
those moments are sacred to me and i feel like i rush and scramble and hurry to get things done to make it to my next "just be" moment...so much so, that i'm kinda defeating the whole purpose, ya know? that i'm missing out on those moments because i'm rushing to make them happen.
A warm fire in the woodstove on a cold day. Like today (it's about 5 degrees outside right now.) Beautiful white snow all around (again, outside!)
