I just have to tell you - it wasn't ME driving down the road laying on her horn like some mad woman. Since it wasn't me, then I also wasn't *completely* surprised to learn that it was me making all that racket after I realized I was inadvertantly leaning on the horn.
Whoa, ho, ho...yo..no. That is not MY son that likes to strip all his clothes off and stand naked as the day he was born a the top of the stairs yelling "Nekkid Boy! I Nekkid Boy!" while holding on to his *ahem* favorite bath toy like it's a prized possession.

Lookin' for Inspiration? You might wanna look elsewhere. This here is the menu of an uninspired person. 2 weeks worth of meals - the name in parenthesis is the person that is responsible for cooking that particular meal. No name? That's me. I'm no name.

Kasey hosts a little carnival on Mondays so we can better get to know one another. It's been fun thus far! Every week she gives us a task and we complete it like good little puppies. This week the question is:
If you had $1000 dollars, and a baby sitter for a period of 24 hours what would you do?
Psh. Easy.
I'd buy myself a new outfit:

Grab the book I am currently reading, and the one set up to go after it:

Check into a hotel:

Go get a facial:

Sit in the hot tub:

Order room service:
Have some wine:

Sleep. A lot. When I'm not reading.
The End.

Have a Monday! Tomorrow is Seriously Tuesday. Make sure you come on by - I've got a surprise for you. *wink*

*bows* Heidi you are a master. Three blog carnivals in one post!! You go, girl!!
Hey when it's Rob's night to pick dinner, does he help make it? ;) Just wondering.
See ya Tuesday, maybe, if I can get on the computer.
Ooooh, I didn't think of a facial! Great daydream!
Oh that sounds heavenly! Could you give me a hypothetical $1000 too? Hmph, like I need anything else to daydream about!! Like how you did more that one carnival in there! Clever~
Why is it that that is all boys favorite bath toys? Sheesh and they all love to be nekkid. ugh.
Great job with the menu. I really need to do this one.
Oh, your little man is way to precious! That is adorable! You should totally make that weekend into a women's retreat. That sounds heavenly right now!
Oooooo.....I have to say I would be spending the money in a very similar fashion (although a new pair of jeans would be thrown in somewhere as well!!)
Nice day! And um, can I come have dinner at your house...love the menu
mmmmmmm - sleep. sounds great!!!
Isn't daydreaming fun!! Love it!! Every wife, mother, WOMAN needs to do this!
Have a happy Monday!
Sleep sounds heavenly!
Hi Heidi! Good plan! Those books look good too - I will check them out!
Jen
Love the menu...much more exotic than my hot dogs, spaghetti, and chicken tacos we are having this week!
And I love the cheesy room service boy!
Fun post!
OMG, my Jack would run around the neighborhood naked. His clothes would be off in a flash & out the door he'd be. Our next door neighbors will never let him live it down!
now that's an awesome day. you're making me day dream
My son hasn't quite discovered that "bath toy"...yet.
What a great idea to share the wealth of fixing meals. Can't wait until my kids are old enough! It looks like "no name" gets to do the majority of the cooking. :)
Love your choice of things you would do on a day all to yourself and with some cash. Checking into a hotel is a great idea. And, although sleep is free...I would buy a $1,000 bed and sheets just to do it!
Have a great day, Heidi! I'm off to do a little 15-minute power clean up (thanks for the idea!)
are your fingers hurtin' you yet? three posts in one! way to go. love the dinner menu! makes me hungry... what is it with 'boys' and their toys???
Love your Not Me's!! My child loved to be nekkid, too-must be a boy thing :D
I think I would spend $1,000 and a day to myself the exact same way-love it!
Great daydream. Sleep, what's that? I need to find some, maybe when the kids are grown?! Have a great rest of your Monday!
Wow, you're busy on Mondays! Love your 24-hour plan! Sounds heavenly!
I just don't think I could possibly get past needing to use the money for bills. I have been thinking about it and it's just too hard. I am not a "pamper yourself" kind of gal. I will have to give this some more thought.
Love the post. I love the new outfit you bought, you are my type of girl. Forget the fancy dresses give us something we can really feel good in, some PJs. Hope you have a great day!
What a great plan, I would so be there too.
Nice daydream...
A perfect day! I dream about one like this often. Maybe someday!
