10 Things I Can't Live Without

Hey - it's Monday. We do this thing with Kasey on Mondays where we share stuff about ourselves. Then we go comment on what everyone else said. Today she wants to know what 10 things we can't live without.

Here's my list, in no particluar order:

1. Toilet Paper. I've tried using leaves but I just end up with green streaks and they're really not very absorbant. Plus? Once there was these little bugs still on the leaves. That was not fun.

2. A bra. I've nursed 4 kids and I wasn't small chested to begin with. The girls need support and help reaching their potential. I prefer underwire.

3. Disposable Diapers. Because I'm just that lazy.

4. T.V. Who else would watch my kids for free?

5. Pepsi. Sweet Nectar. Can I get an Amen?

6. Infants Tylenol & Motrin. SIX teeth trying to break through right now. SIX.

7. A paycheck. Meager as it is right now with my hours being ravaged, it still helps pay the bills.

8. Cheap Wine. Because I am a cheap, tacky person.

9. TV shows that I can watch online. Because I can't take the babysitter TV away from the kids.

10. Caller ID. Just sayin'.

There ya go. My list. And now, since I feel like a big load of dog doo on a hot day, I'm gonna go lay down with my sissy girl who also is feeling crap-like. Yay stomach flu!

My boobs are sad & face the floor. I usually use the term rocks in socks. But I CANNOT stand wearing a bra & don't unless I have to see people or leave the house.

Heidi -
You are so funny! I loved your list! I seriously don't understand people that don't wear bras. So weird! And caller ID - one of the most important inventions in modern history!

XOXO

I love that bra. That's a lovely picture of you posing in it. :o)

To answer your question:
The books I am reading are by LaVyrle Spencer. I know I'm late in reading her. She started writing in '79, and her last book was in the late 90's. But, life got in the way of my reading, and now I'm getting back in to it.

Girl, You cracked me up on everyone. Loved the bra, so true and hilarious at the same time. Holla!

Ok, I am still here...just insanely busy with a new job daytime, evening family time, night hours catch-up on the house work time, and, at some point I try to sneak in a few hours of sleep. I'll post soon, promise! BTW, didn't read this whole post yet but I'm with ya on the TP and underwire. The girls are shrinkin' so I need all the help I can get!

I'll give you an amen on the pepsi! :)

Can you hear me laughing! What a wonderful list. Leave it to you to find some of the most important things in life. I think all mommies can agree with just about everything on your list. I totally agree with you about the caller id. At least by having this feature on the phone we know when to let the kids talk to the sales man. Hope you had a blessed Monday!

Heather @ Sugarplum Garters said...

you're the only other person i've seen so far who had t.p. on their list too! how could we live without it?!?

i hope you had a wonderful monday!

Heidi @ Tayterjaq's Rebels said...

TP...TV...both essential. You nailed it. Great list.
Please explain to me why everyone else's boobs got bigger when they nursed and mine shriveled up into barely A's. The only time they were anything bigger was when they swelled up a few days after delivery. And I nursed all 4 kids. Rebecca and Jaquelyn for well past a year. I tell ya it's just not fair.
Anyhoo...Happy Monday!

Oh man, the stomach flu? Again?! So sorry to hear that! And thanks for the laughs on your list. TP, so essential!

What about the computer???

Kelli said...

You crack me up, plain and simple. Great list, thanks for the laugh...everything was so true!

webberpa said...

Oh, and no cell phone???? Nice bra though. You know what the call a bra in Germany? A B.H., pronounced BAY-HAH, short for Breast-Holder, just in case you wanted to know. :)
