I'd like to take a minute to talk to you about a very serious subject that is near and dear to my heart. Something that is so very important to me even if it may seem frivolous to you. It is something that, at first glace, could certainly be deemed superficial and unnecessary but I assure you, it is most definitely necessary.
I'd like to talk to you about my TV shows. I have a few commentaries that I need to share with someone toher than Rob because, to be honest, Rob doesn't give two rips. HA!
True Beauty ended this week. Anyone watch that? That show was a train wreck. I can't even believe I watched it faithfully to the end - but I HAD to! I HAD TO, do you hear me?? It should have been called "The Shallow End of the Gene Pool" What was UP with those people? Are there really people like that out there? It's so scary to me. And every time that the host, Vanessa, spoke? I wanted to punch her in the mouth so she'd stop moving her lips aorund like a sucker fish. Is that overly violent? Sorry. I guess I'm glad about Julie winning - Joel was a scary stalker guy and Billy was an airhead protein shake junkie. *shrug* What're ya gonna do?
Survivor is heating up. I love this show - it's my favorite reality show. Coach is getting on my nerves and I can't think of anyone that I want to win, yet.
ER - Carter has cancer and he's dying. That's my guess. Not a psoiler or anything but it's not a big leap from seeing the previews for the next show.
Amazing Race - I missed this show! I don't get to watch during football season because Rob gets the TV on Sunday nights. I haven't been sad about any of the elimated players, yet. I am so glad the first team was elimated because I can do without the bickering couple for once.
Hell's Kitchen - Oh my WORD does Lacey need to GO or what??? I just wanna push her down the stairs or something. I think Seth is fairly useless, as well. And I just wanna know - do all Chef's smoke???
Last, but certainly not least - Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice...I LOVED the crossover weeks. Loved them. Archer - what a JERK! Addison - I'm glad she told Naomi..really glad. I'm sad for Naomi, though. Violet grates on my last nerve, swear it. SHe and Sheldon should be together so Pete can find someone worthy of him. The whole thing with Charlotte and Cooper - UGH. Charolette wasn't wrong in being upset that he was moving in with Violet, IMO but sleeping with Archer? What a hag.
Grey's - Holy HANNAH that fight scene between Derek and Mark was intense! I was holding my breath and saying "Just STOP! STOP!" UGH. So, Izzy has cancer and is dying. She's leaving the show at the end of the season anyway, we all knew that. Rumor is that George is going, too. He hasn't had much of a part on the show for awhile. I'm really liking the turns that Cristina has been taking this season. Owen is a good addition to the staff, IMO.
Biggest Loser - I can't pick who I want to win! Last season was a no brainer..anyone but Icky Vicky, Brady or Heba. They were the most dislikable people ever on the show, I swear it. This season I find myself pulling for so many of them! I love Tara and Aubrey and Mandi...oy. I just want to see them ALL succeed!!
I'm excited for that new show 'In the Motherhood' to start. I LOVE Megan Mulally and the previews look SO funny!
There ya have it. I watch too much TV. HA!

I so hope that tonight's Grey's is new. That fight scene was long overdue. Poor Mark, but he's had it coming for a few years now. I kept thinking that one of them was going to go over the edge of that railing. :)
That's my guess about Carter too. You know, when I heard that this was going to be ER's last season I was so relieved...I wanted to stop watching it several season ago but just couldn't. Now that we're almost at the end I'm not ready for it to be over!
My junior high PE coach is on Survivor this season. I think her first name is Debbie. She was coach Cimo many years ago but she has a new married now. Anyways, she is the blonde chick from Alabama!
Don't be raggin on my Joel. He's getting me through these long winter nights.
HAAAAAAAAAA!! I LOVE those shows! Didn't get into True Beauty because frankly, it would make me want to hunt some people down and show them just how ugly I *can* be. ;)
Biggest Loser....yeah...ummm...right. Not gonna happen. Again. ;) LOL
LOVED the cross over shows too! YAY! Loved them.
ER, should have died a long time ago. Ouch. Painful. When did Carter come back? LOL

Have you watched the short clips of "In the Motherhood" on their website. They had different actresses but they were FUNNY. I can't remember the website but I'm sure you can Google it. I can't wait for the show either!
True Beauty had me hooked. But I agree it was bad, but I had to watch it. They are so full of themselves!!! But they are beautiful. I think what makes a person truly beautiful is their personality. If they are cocky about it, like 2nd place winner was they are not attractive to me.
Oh this was sooooooo good!! I did start watching True Beauty (only because I got hooked on the Bachelor) I know, I know..pitiful...but after about 4-5 weeks..I COULD not take it anymore...ha Those people are nuts aren't they? I used to watch Survivor like there was no tomorrow..haven't got into it much the last few seasons...I read the spoilers on Bachelor for the finale next week..(I know take the fun out of it..) but if what I read is true..I will need to find a new show to get hooked on..:)
I don't watch ANY of those shows. I am a total loser. I only watch Tigger and pooh. At least I am learning my colors, right? !...
I'm thinking Carter is in kidney failure. I think he needs a transplant. That was my guess at least. ;)

i was addicted to stupid true beauty as well. and so glad julia won. but billy wasn't too bad to look at anyways. love the dimples. survivor is decent. i've been missing amazing race as well...i am just a reality tv junkie. :0) glad someone else seems to be as well...and i have to say i'm rooting for purple on BL they're from wisconsin. erinn on survivor is too, but i'm not so keen on her attitude..
Ok, so I love Greys and Private Practice. I like the crossover epiosdes too. I kept thinking it would only be one, then two, then it ended up at 3..crazy! Violet is driving me nuts though. I loved her/hated her in Judging Amy. LOL. I used to love Ugly Betty, but in the last few weeks especially I have I lost interest. I have started watching survivor...looks to be a good season. I like Amazing Race, but that is really my husbands show...that and the office (he also likes 30 rock).
ER...I stopped watching that about 2 years ago, I can only tape 1 thing at at time. But, the last few I have watched on the computer. I love Carter, and I am also trying to figure out what is going on with him.

OK, so you know I've never been a Derek fan. Him and Meredith grate on my last nerve. Still... I was never a huge Mark fan either BUT I will say that I actually like thim this season and LOVED the fight scene. Derek needs to suck it up and quit being a sissy lately. -ok, so I'll probably get stoned for that. LOL had to be said. I like Mark and little Grey together- like yin and yang.
hey, you forgot to mention ANTM starting next week... WOOT! and Project Runway is coming up too.
And who else is SO GLAD that Stefan did not win Top Chef!?

I love The Biggest Loser, but I think Trainer Bob's breakdown was the most self-absorbed TV moment I've ever seen (and that's saying a lot)!
I'm right there with you on 6 out of 8 of the TV programs you listed (didn't get into True Beauty or ER). Thank goodness for DVR!! Thanks for the commentaries... ;)
