Blogstyle Iron Chef

Have you ever seen that show, Iron Chef, on Food Network? Rob and I used to watch that every Sunday, man. It was one of our favorites before we ditched cable. I don't know about you, but I get bored eating the same things all the time - however I need familiar, affordable, easy to make food for the family. So, I thought it would be fun to make a Blogstyle version of Iron Chef. How does it work? I'm glad you asked!! ;-)

Once a month I'll post an Iron Chef Challenge. You grab the button and post the requested recipe on your blog, linking back to the challenge post. Come back and hook up to Mr. Linky. A week after posting the challenge, I will choose 3 recipes using random.org. I will post the three recipes for everyone to try (including myself) and I will set up a poll in my sidebar to vote for your favorite recipe. I know that there will be some margin of error (people just voting because they can) so I'm really relying on you guys to help me out! There will also be buttons for you to put on YOUR blog that say "Vote for Me" linking back to Sacred & Profane.

After 2 weeks I will close the poll and post the results. The winner will receive a prize package from me as well as the right to post the Iron Chef Champ button on their site! Then we'll start all over with a new challenge next month. Sound fun? I think so!
