I believe the definition of joy, as it is used in the above verse is such: 2: a state of happiness or felicity : bliss
Oh it is so hard to have joy when you're experiencing trials in your life. So much easier during times of celebration and prosperity, isn't it?
It's so funny, I was just asking for prayer from a group of friends because I'm having a hard time having faith that God will provide when I need Him to. It really seems so silly to me, now, though. I'm having a hard time having FAITH that God will provide for something that we feel He has led us to do. Isn't that rich??

I am thankful for the JOY that comes in knowing that God will provide.
Can I quote myself from somewhere else? Why, SURE I can. It's my blog. HA!

I keep asking for prayer because I have a hard time believing that God will provide for me to get into the best university that He knows is right for me.
This is the second post I've seen like this today that deals with faith; I think He's trying to tell me something :) .
believe in God... i have to repeat this over and over again... BELIEVE IN GOD. sometimes i have to do that to tune myself with HIM. my situation is sometimes overwhelming. God bless you, heidi.
Sometimes it seems hard, but if we truly believe in God, he will answer our prayers.

I have a strong testimony of tithing. For a time on paper there was no way we could give extra for tithing. We faithfully always gave, and we were never without. It was amazing. I KNOW that Heavenly Father will take care of us in all aspects that we need.

BEAUTIFUL post. It's hard to admit outloud sometimes that we are afraid....Gosh, don't ya know God knows that too. But that's part of trusting Himis letting go of those fears to Him.
I've been there, and I've done that more times than I like, and somehow...oddly....we turn out just fine, and my faith has grown so much through it.
For ME, the difference came in reading my Bible EVERY day. I read at least one chapt. every day. For some people, it's church, Bible studies, etc, but mine has been Bible and prayer.
I'm thinking of you, sweetie. And just know I am praying for you and think the world of you.
